Guests at this year’s popular Dubai International Boat Show will be able to experience a special slice of luxury thanks to ART MARINE, a leading yacht dealership and marina operator which, for the very first time, will reveal the brand-new 68-foot Riva Ego Super yacht to the Middle East public.
The sleek design of the 68’ Ego Super is typical of a Riva built yacht, reflecting the company’s tradition of seamlessly mixing elegance with innovation. In the cockpit the reclining sofas can face in either direction, allowing for the ultimate flexibility for on-board guests, whilst guests seated at the bow can make use of a specially designed electric awning, – once again showing that adopting new technologies does not come at the expense of comfort.
Inside it is the same story, with everything being reexamined to improve the ownership experience. The deck has been raised to allow additional headroom in the cabins, giving a more airy and spacious feel for the occupants. In addition the main salon has been moved to the upper deck, again altering how the space is best used.
Greg Stinner, CEO of ART MARINE, comments: “The 68’ Ego Super is a very special yacht that represents what Riva is all about. Whatever the material used, or the generation to generation passed-on skills and craftsmanship, a Riva will always be a Riva, unmatched by any of its rivals in the industry world-wide. With the highest degree in luxury and design, and the incorporation of state-of-the-art technologies, a Riva always stands-out, ultimately matching the needs and requirements of the most discerning clientele.
“Yacht buyers in the Middle East are gradually shifting to high-quality brands rather than size, maximizing their use to primarily day use and fast cruising. The 68’ Ego Super is an ideal compromise between a sizeable flybridge yacht, yet allowing maximum flexibility, performance and ease to operate. Moreover, there is enough room on board to have a crew, while maintaining a degree of privacy while entertaining family and friends.”
Mario Chessa, Ferretti Group EMEA Regional Director, comments: “We are very much looking forward to the première of the 68’ Ego Super at the Dubai International Boat Show, one of the Middle East’s top shows. The show gives us the chance to interact with our loyal customers and partners, and we are sure that the latest addition to the Riva brand will be very well received. ART MARINE has done an excellent job in promoting and placing the Riva brand in the countries where they operate, re-introducing this ‘halo brand’ but also associating it with the right target audience and clientele.”
The 68’ Ego Super also incorporates the PLC technology-based Gi8 system, which controls, manages and monitors all on-board systems. This system particularly suits sporty yachts such as the 68’ Ego Super and once again gives the boat the edge over its rivals.
Everything in the 68’ Ego Super has been improved, re-engineered or re-designed for 2014, making it one of the very best yacht in its class. The Italian brand has once again come up with a product that will suit almost every customer’s need. Middle East yacht buyers are extremely selective and rightly so. Riva and ART MARINE understand this, and creates products that more than surpass any potential owner’s expectations. The 68’ Ego Super has won numerous awards since its international launch, including the prestigious “European Powerboat of the Year” and the renowned “Millennium Yacht Design Award”.
