Dubai 1-5 March, this year at the Dubai International Boat Show, ART Marine exhibited in joint cooperation with the FERRETTI GROUP, showing six Riva yachts ranging from 27 to 92 feet, which is the largest Riva display to date for ART Marine. The Dubai International Boat Show has earned a stellar reputation in the international boat show arena and is one of the top four boat shows world-wide. In addition to the 88’ Florida and 76’ Perseo, ART Marine introduced Blohm + Voss BV 80 meter, a new design with upgraded technologies, meeting the ever increasing demand in requirements of mega yacht clientele.

In recent years, the marine landscape has been redefined in the region, with growing numbers of marinas and destinations to explore, and with increasing launches of water front developments, for example “The Heart of Europe” on the World Islands, where ART Marine is acting as an advisory council during the development phase, and operating the marinas upon completion. ART Marine has witnessed clients no longer looking for the best deals, but instead they are looking for up to date models and more premium brands within the 45 to 75 foot fly-bridge category. The most requested specification is superior air conditioning units, stabilisers for larger yachts, and more and more clients are seeking support in securing an adequate berth for new yachts. The pre-owned markets also remains strong in the UAE, with a broad offering of good deals and brands.
The GCC is the number one purchaser of mega-yachts above 50 metres for sailing in the Mediterranean. An increasing trend from clients is to use their yachts in Europe during the summer and GCC in the winter. Falling oil prices have made little impact on sales from ART Marine’s ultra-high net worth clients.
ART Marine not only offers new and pre-owned yachts sales, but also the all-important after sales service, yacht valet, yacht management, marina management, and a marine products division that carries the regional distributorship of WILLIAMS Tenders and many other strong brands.
